CURRENT CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Job Title: Office Manager/Project Manager

Location: Westport, CT


Office Manager Duties:

- Answer phones, greet visitors and general customer service
- Perform administrative duties such as shipping, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Manage office inventory
- Maintain the company’s social media networks (Blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, ect.)
- Conduct e-mail blast campaigns for company services and blog
- Add and edit articles, images, and blog entries to the company website using Joomla and WordPress
- Create and maintain contact databases for past and current clients, prospective clients, and vendors
- Manage company calendars and set up conference calls

Project Manager Duties:

- Set up all new clients, projects and freelancers on our project management system, Project Path
- Responsible with monitoring all project deliverables and deadlines
- Contact freelance Website Programmers and Graphic Designers as needed per project
- Assist in the development of project proposals, estimates, and creative briefs for both new and current clients
- Create and manage timelines for all client projects
- Produce working guidelines of the Joomla Website Content Management system for clients as needed
- Write weekly status reports for each project as well as all internal affairs
- Conduct weekly staff meetings
- Assist the CEO and EVP in the execution, production, and research on a variety of projects, both internal and external
- Manage projects through initiation to completion, including budgeting and daily contact with client
- Foster excellent communications and relationships with clients

Requirements:

• College graduate with relevant degree in Marketing, Design, or Communication
• 1 – 2 years of marketing experience preferred (internships may be included)
• Strong verbal and writing abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong team player
• Personable and outgoing

Skills:

• Capable of taking initiative
• Efficient with the following programs on Mac:
    • Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Filemaker Pro
    • iContact
    • WordPress

• Knowledge of file formats
• Must be web savvy

Job Title: Freelance Digital Graphic Designer: Super talented in mostly Web and some Print

Location: Westport, CT


Responsibilities include: developing new creative concepts through delivery of branding projects, web, email marketing, blogs, email campaigns, some html and updating some PHP sites, Flash animation, edit and prepare video files for the web. There is also some print work, and designs that are highly interactive and consumer friendly. Be able to both come up with unique and exiting designs and interpret sketches into Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.

Required: Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, Flash, html, update PHP files

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent art school experience, and at least 4+ years working in a design firm, ad agency or in-house agency environment. They should also possess exceptional design skills, excellent digital illustrative and design skills in addition to being well versed in the subtle art of creating designs that are both responsive and engaging.

You will be highly organized, efficient self-starter with excellent brainstorming and problem solving skills. You understand strategy and interpret to on target creative solutions. Job Title: Marketing and Design Intern

Location: Westport, CT USA


We are looking for a versatile, detail-oriented intern with initiative and excellent problem solving.  Successful candidates must be team players and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous office experience would be helpful.

The internship requires a either a full time commitment or at least 25 hours per week with flexible hours between Mondays to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Your reward for working hard is an internship that will involve you in active jobs, respond to your ideas and give you a valuable “real-life” experience in a fast-paced agency environment. Interns will assist with a variety of administrative and design tasks. This is an unpaid position.

Responsibilities:

Administrative:
•    Updating contact lists

•    Maintain filing and database systems

Design:

Part-Time/Freelance Web Developer

Location: Westport, CT

Our Web Developer must be a highly organized, efficient self-starter with excellent brainstorming and problem solving skills. He or she must have a *phenomenal* portfolio, be able to work on multiple projects and accounts in a small and innovative environment, and want to be part of an exceptional and close-knit team.

As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for the delivery of branding projects and web design that are highly creative, interactive, and consumer friendly. The right candidate will have excellent time management and organizational abilities, and be able to meet deadlines.

You must be able to deliver compelling creative designs that are both responsive and engaging. We will only review applicants whose portfolios are readily available online or by email. In particular, we are seeking an applicant with real-world experience and a portfolio that backs it up.

Required: IBM Websphere, Java portlets, HTML, CSS, PHP, CMS, and Photoshop. Flash is a plus but not required.

Sales People Needed

Location: Westport, CT

gkBRAND is in need of talented, experienced sales-people in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut areas to continue growing gkBRAND at a rapid pace and to add to the list of Fortune 500 clients currently in our portfolio. Our Sales People will work remotely for gkBRAND to establish new business contacts and to set appointments for themselves and key gkBRAND Executives to pitch our business.

The ideal candidate for this position will be highly results driven, extremely organized, with exceptional social skills and a "no-fear" attitude. This person will have 5 years of experience in Sales with a proven track record of providing growth and profitability to their respective company. Marketing, branding, or advertising experience is essential.

This position will be on a commission only role, and the percentage of commission will be determined by your experience level.
