ComVort Stockholm’s CEO elected New Chairman of SESA
Patrick Walldén, CEO of PS Communication, was elected Chairman of the Swedish Events and Sponsorship Association.
The Board is elected by the Annual Meeting and consists of representatives from the various categories of members buyers, vendors, consultants/strategists, and producers/providers.
“I want to heighten awareness of the event and sponsorship trade in general. Our professional footprint is much larger than most people realise, our trade is essential in generating marketing benefits for great many companies and organisations, not to mention the number of jobs that are a direct result of what we do”, says Patrick Walldén.
ComVort Manchester Wins Bunch of Roses
BJL won in each of the categories it was nominated, securing top spot with a grand total of 15 awards – more than twice as many as its nearest challengers.
The annual Roses Awards chaired by advertising legend, Trevor Beattie, saw BJL sweep the board for the second year running, scooping five Golds, seven Silvers and three Bronze awards. The leading independent agency won in each of the categories it was nominated, securing top spot with a grand total of 15 awards- more than twice as many as its nearest challengers.
Amongst the winning work was ‘An Evening with Ricky Hatton’ for The Lowry, a poster campaign printed on pub mirrors reading ‘Drink a little less, see a better you’ for the NHS and the Youtube hit, ‘One finger food’ for Rustlers microwaveable burgers.

Trade awards in two categories! Event Marketing #1 and Action Marketing #2!
The award Sveriges Bästa Byrå was presented by trade magazine Resume in Stockholm on Monday evening. “I’m really happy, and proud! The awards are the results of hard work, and close cooperation with our clients”, says Patrick Walldén, CEO and co-founder of PS Communication. The awards are based on the aggregated results from a number of interviews with clients, performed during spring 2010. All nominees attained a minimum of 66% satisfied, or very satisfied clients.
