As one of the original founders of Glazer+Kalayjian in 1980, Terry Glazer had a vision: To lead a top-tier branding firm that prides itself on building positive and inspiring relationships with its customers, its community, and its employees. To this day, that commitment has been the engine driving GK’s success.
Holding a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Terry Glazer started her career as an apprentice to the legendary Herb Lubalin, a pioneer of graphic design. She further honed her skills through positions as a design consultant to the Smithsonian Institution and as an Art Director at NBC. Terry Glazer was a firm believer in sharing the company’s success with worthwhile organizations around the world, and had dedicated a significant amount of GK’s time and resources to non-profit branding and design projects. Terry Glazer retired in 2008, however her legacy continues.

William Brian Arthur, PhD
Dr. Arthur is an economist credited with influencing the modern theory of increasing returns, and an authority on economics in relation to complexity theory, technology and financial markets. He is on the external faculty at the Santa Fe Institute, and is a visiting researcher at the Intelligent Systems Lab at PARC. Arthur is noted for his seminal works studying the impacts of positive feedback or increasing returns in economies, and how these increasing returns magnify small, random occurrences in the marketplace. He received his B. Sc. in electrical engineering at Queens University, Belfast; an M. A. in operational research at Lancaster University, Lancaster, England; an M.A. in mathematics at the University of Michigan; and a PhD in operations research and an M.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Started with No. 2 pencils thrown away by my CPA Dad at the age of 2. The pencils never had erasers left on them so I always somehow incorporated my mistakes into the picture. Maybe it was then I started with this problem-solving business. My dedication to these pursuits was as strong at age 3 as in my college days and it finally culminated with my graduation from Pratt Institute in New York. In the course of the 14 years I have practiced design, I have had the privilege of meeting and joining with other professionals of similar temperaments as an active member of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD), the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the American Association of Museum (AAM).
Christine is an accomplished, results-driven marketing communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience working for start-up and global companies. Majid Abbasi is an art director and senior design consultant active in the international community. His specializations include corporate design, brand development, print and publication design, packaging, book and editorial design.
Informed by more than two decades of experience Majid enjoys providing consultation on project scoping, design management, design process presentation, strategic goal setting, and conceptualization. In addition to his reputation for artistic and cultural projects, he has extensive experience in leading a creative team through commercial and corporate projects.
